Bettor Clubhouse patrons knew it was a matter of WHEN not IF for Justin Thomas to notch his 16th PGA Tour win. Thomas beat local favorite, Andrew Novak, with a 21 foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole to capture his first win since the 2022 PGA Championship and first as a father. JT nearly started the week with a course record (5 foot miss on 18 on Thursday); however, he finished the week 4th in putting (+1.36) and 7th in Approach (+0.94) to lead him to victory. It’s another close call for Novak, 3 Top 5s and 5 Top 15s in his last 11 starts, who made a clutch birdie on the 16th to tie the lead and had 8 feet for the win on the 72nd, but missed it poorly to the left.
