Was his home course from when he finished it in 1922 until he died in 1942
Major renovation and restoration of the course in summer of 2013 to return the course to Tillinghast roots (tree removal, redid greens, tees, bunkers, fairways, new sod, etc)
Since then, this course has hosted various PGA accredited events such as the PGA Professional National Championship, a Senior Players Championship and the 2024 US Amateur 4-Ball
