Monday Night Football Breakdown
Arizona Cardinals @ Dallas Cowboys (-2.5) - 8:15 ET
Insights: Overall the stats have these two teams as fairly equal with TeamRankings giving the Cowboys a slight 0.2 edge. Factor in home field and the line makes sense even with Jacoby Brissett making his 3rd straight start for the injured Kyler Murray. Little shocking with Brissett getting the nod after the Cards bye week and even more eyebrow raising when the coach mentioned Murray could play a role in the game tonight. Arizona currently on a 5 game losing streak (last win Week 2!); however, I cut them some slack as 3 of their last 4 opponents ranked in my top 10: Seattle (scored 20), Indianapolis (scored 27) and Green Bay (scored 23). This week they faceoff against the worst defense in the league with injured players on the back end as well. I expect Cards to outscore those games and hard to argue when Dallas has allowed on average 33 points at home this season. Don’t get me wrong, I do expect the Cowboys to put their fair share of points too which is why I like Over 53 but playing more props in this one. I have circled CeeDee Lamb to double his receiving touchdown number on the year, Pickens O 4.5 receptions, Zay Jones O 20.5 receiving yards and Trey McBride for first touchdown and O 69.5 receiving yards. -C
Pick: Arizona Cardinals +2.5
Confidence: 1/5
Anytime TD: Trey McBride
