Comp Results: 2/5/6/7/10/MC
Insights: Collin Morikawa at this price? Spare me. Sure, by name alone, he’s arguably the class of the field at the Rocket Classic, but last time I checked, names themselves aren’t teeing it up on the links every weekend. Morikawa hasn’t cracked the top 15 in over two months, and he’s hemorrhaged over 10 strokes putting across his last two starts. That’s not just a cold streak, it’s a full-blown meltdown. Now oddsmakers expect us to back him in a birdie fest, on greens that demand confidence he clearly doesn’t have? Could he win? Technically, yes, but at this horrific sub-15/1 price, you’re paying a premium for pedigree with zero recent payoff. Let someone else light their money on fire.
Patrick Cantlay
Odds: +1600
Stats: Top 100 exclude SCR (128), BOB 150175 (131), P3 (130)

FORM: 12/MC/12/MC
Rocket Classic Results: 2/47/67
Comp Results: 5/11/17/17/40/47/67
Insights: Patrick Cantlay is Champ’s pick from the top of the board this week. He’s been solid off the tee and has gained on approach in four of his last six starts. Despite two missed cuts—both in majors—he’s posted three Top 5 finishes this season and 15 Top 5s since his last win in August 2022. He returns to a birdie-friendly track where he finished runner-up in 2022, and with his well-rounded game trending, I expect him to be right there on Sunday.
Keegan Bradley
Odds: +1800

FORM: 1/33/7/8
Rocket Classic Results: 14/21/44/45
Comp Results: 5/13/15/22/32/MC/MC
Insights: Keegan Bradley lit up the Travelers last week with a dramatic birdie to win the tournament on #18. He gained nearly 7 strokes putting and over 5 strokes tee to green at what many consider to be his “home course.” No doubt it was a stellar showing, but let’s pump the brakes on ole’ Captain America. This is not a guy who screams back-to-back winner, especially heading into the Rocket Classic — where volatility reigns and putting magic rarely repeats. At sub-20/1, the price is bloated and begging for a fade. Keegan was great in Connecticut last week, but if you're backing him here, you're chasing ghosts. Sammy’s fade-of-the-week.

Rickie Fowler
Odds: +4500
Stats: Top 125 exclude ARD
Rank: Top 75% exclude ARD
SG Gains: OTT 4/4, APP 4/4, ARD 2/4, PUTT 2/4
FORM: 36/7/16/MC
Rocket Classic Results: 1/12/31/32/46/MC
Comp Results: 1/3/3/3/4/5/6/9/17
Insights: There’s something intriguing about Rickie this week in his return to Detroit Golf Club—the site of his 2023 win. After a rough start last week with rounds of 70-77, he looked like a man playing with nothing to lose, bouncing back with a strong weekend (64-67). Maybe that’s the spark that gets him into one of the final groups on Sunday and at 40/1 along with gains across the bag, Rickie feels live this week and Champ’s not ready to get off the train just yet.
Ryan Gerard
Odds: +5500
Stats: Top 125 exclude BOB 125150
Rank: Top 75% exclude BOB 125150
SG Gains: OTT 4/4, APP 4/4, ARD 4/4, PUTT 0/4
FORM: 54/50/23/73
Rocket Classic Results: 56 (69-71-71-69)
Comp Results: 69/MC
Insights: Ryan Gerard won’t be a popular pick this week given his struggles on the greens—losing strokes putting in 7 of his last 8 starts—but his ball-striking and consistency offer hope. He’s made six straight cuts, and if he can find a field-average putter, a return to the Top 10 like at Quail Hollow isn’t out of the question.
Harry Hall
Odds: +3300
Stats: Top 125 exclude APP 200+, PROX
Rank: Top 75% exclude APP 200+, PROX
SG Gains: OTT 1/4, APP 3/4, ARD 3/4, PUTT 4/4
FORM: 9/24/6/19
Rocket Classic Results: 31/MC
Comp Results: 45/63/MC/MC/MC
Insights: The Bettor Clubhouse took notice of Harry Hall’s great form and was able to capitalize on it in Round 2 of the Travelers last week in a head-to-head matchup against Min Woo Lee (follow us on X for those round-to-round bets so you don’t miss you!) He’s quietly been one of the hottest names on Tour, riding a streak of 5 straight top-25 finishes dating back to the Myrtle Beach Classic, and he’s been rolling it beautifully — gaining significantly on the greens in each of those starts (which is crucial at a birdie-fest like the Rocket Classic). But here’s the catch: at 30/1, we’re no longer getting the usual value we’ve come to expect from Hall, who’s typically priced at double that number at least. With him sitting as the most popular outright bet this week per GolfTipsChecker on X, the shine starts to wear off. Hall's putting makes him dangerous, no doubt, but on a volatile course where anyone can spike for 72 holes, this much steam on a player with limited win equity is hard to trust. He makes far more sense in DFS builds or as a placement bet than he does holding the outright ticket everyone else is waving.
Si Woo Kim
Odds: +3500
Stats: Top 125 exclude PUTT, BOB 150175, P3
Rank: Top 75% exclude BOB 150175, P3
SG Gains: OTT 4/4, APP 2/4, ARD 4/4, PUTT 2/4
FORM: WD/42/31/28
Rocket Classic Results: 14/57/58/MC
Comp Results: 11/44/49/76/MC
Insights: Reports from the ground say Si Woo’s back is just fine—he’s ripping drivers at full tilt—so last week’s WD may have been more precaution than problem. That’s a green light for savvy DFS players. He owns a Top 15 finish at Detroit Golf Club, has gained strokes putting here in two of four starts, and was rolling it well before his last two outings. The putter’s the wild card, but if it shows up, Si Woo’s ceiling is a trophy. Champ’s buying the dip.
Kurt Kitayama
Odds: +7000
Stats: Top 100 exclude APP 150175 (138), PUTT (151)
Rank: Top 75% exclude APP 150175, PUTT
SG Gains: OTT 4/4, APP 4/4, ARD 4/4, PUTT 2/4
FORM: MC/22/MC/5
Rocket Classic Results: 20/MC
Comp Results: 65/MC/MC
Insights: If you zoom in on the last four weeks for Kurt Kitayama, the picture gets a lot clearer—two Top 25s, including a Top 5, and steady gains across the board aside from a streaky putter. While calling for a win might be a reach, his Top 20 finish here in 2022 adds some quiet confidence. He’s trending under the radar, making him a sharp play in matchups and DFS before the crowd catches on.
Alex Noren
Odds: +6000
Stats: N/A
Rank: N/A
SG Gains: OTT 2/4, APP 2/4, ARD 4/4, PUTT 3/4
FORM: 30/MC/39/17
Rocket Classic Results: 4/9/MC/MC
Comp Results: 2/8/12/15/36/59/MC
Insights: Alex Noren has taken the slow-and-steady route through the 2025 season, with just five starts under his belt and still searching for that first Top 10. But don’t let the quiet build fool you—a strong finish feels close. He’s played well at Detroit Golf Club before, even without elite driving, so the recent losses off the tee don’t rattle Champ much. If the irons sharpen up even slightly, the birdie-heavy setup should play right into his hands. He’s a crafty play in matchups, DFS, and even a Top 10 sprinkle for those looking to stay one step ahead.
Alex Smalley
Odds: +5500
Stats: Top 100 exclude BOB 125150 (111)
Rank: Top 75% across, Top 25% exclude APP 150175, APP 200+, PROX, BOB 125150, P3, P5
SG Gains: OTT 4/4, APP 3/4, ARD 3/4, PUTT 1/4
FORM: 13/MC/28/5
Rocket Classic Results: 47/MC/MC
Comp Results: 11/12/29/30/43/MC/MC
Insights: Smalley showed a strong rebound with rounds of 63 and 65 sprinkled around at the RBC Canadian Open, shaking off the missed cut at Colonial with ease. While his course history at Detroit Golf Club—two missed cuts and a T47—keeps him off Champ’s outright card this week, the form is clearly building. A steady T30 with a hot weekend round would be right on script, setting the stage for a real run next week at a venue where he finished runner-up in 2023.

FORM: 52/4/4/25
Rocket Classic Results: 2/6
Comp Results: 3/13/15/MC
Insights: Good ole CY. He’s starting to feel like this week’s version of Fleetwood—a guy knocking on the door, just waiting for it to swing open. Sitting fourth on the odds board doesn’t scream value, but there’s more beneath the surface: three straight events gaining over a stroke putting (no losses since Augusta), and the memory of being firmly in the mix here last year before a snapped driver derailed his Sunday. The irons are still a bit inconsistent, which tempers expectations, but with elite driving and a hot flatstick, Yound has the tools. If the approach play clicks, the only thing standing in his way might be between the ears. Champ’s been penciling this one in for a while—and it’s starting to feel real once again.
